Quintas de Melgaço, a producer with more than three decades of history in the Monção and Melgaço sub-region, offers a selection of wines that reflect the essence of the season and the excellence of the Alvarinho grape variety – the region’s main protagonist.

Among the suggestions is QM Rosé 2024, a salmon-coloured, aromatic wine with intense notes of red fruit, made from a blend of Alvarinho and Sousão. Smooth, fresh and persistent on the palate, this rosé is the perfect choice to accompany light, relaxed dishes such as salads, pasta, seafood rice or buttery cheeses. QM Alvarinho 2024, made exclusively from grapes harvested in the Monção and Melgaço sub-region, stands out for its clear citrus colour and fruity aromatic profile, with tropical nuances. With good volume in the mouth, balanced acidity and a long finish, it is a versatile choice that shines both as an aperitif and at the table, accompanying fish, seafood, poultry, white meats, cheeses and sausages from the region.
