Gigi returns to JNcQUOI Avenida for gastronomic takeover

JNcQUOI Avenida is once again hosting, between January 21 and 24, the restaurant Gigi, one of the most emblematic spaces in the Algarve, for a gastronomic takeover that reinforces the group’s commitment to partnerships with reference restaurants outside of Lisbon.

For four days, Gigi takes over the kitchen of the restaurant located on Avenida da Liberdade, presenting a menu centered on the authenticity of ingredients and a maritime-inspired cuisine, characteristic of the Algarve space located in Quinta do Lago. This initiative, which has been taking place since 2019, seeks to recreate in Lisbon the essence of a restaurant known for the simplicity of its flavors and the enhancement of the product.

The menu includes starters such as cold tuna ceviche, Portuguese-style scallop marinade, cockle xerém, and tomato stew with eggs and shrimp. In the main courses, fish and seafood take center stage, with proposals such as seafood massada, scarlet shrimp with *morrones*, pampano with Sicilian sauce, and tiger clams with green pepper sauce.

Recognized for its relaxed atmosphere and offering of fresh fish and seafood, Gigi has been, for several generations, a reference gastronomic destination in the Algarve summer, benefiting from its privileged location near the Ria Formosa Natural Park.

With this takeover, JNcQUOI reinforces its strategy of giving visibility to Portuguese gastronomy from different regions of the country, through temporary collaborations, always with the curation of Executive Chef António Bóia, promoting the meeting between different expressions of national cuisine in an urban context.
