Graham’s launches Single Harvest Tawny Port 2001 for Ambassadors

15/07/2025

Graham’s has just announced the limited launch of Single Harvest Tawny Port 2001, a special edition created in honour of the classification of the Alto Douro Wine Region as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. The wine will be available exclusively to the international community of Graham’s Ambassadors.
Produced from a single harvest and aged for almost 25 years in oak casks in the centuries-old cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia, Graham’s Single Harvest Tawny Port 2001 combines notes of cinnamon, praline, honey and coffee in a rich and elegant expression of the house style. This special edition will be available in two formats: the classic 75cl bottle and an imposing 4.5 litre version.
The launch is reserved for Graham’s Ambassadors – a global network of bars, sommeliers, restaurants and catering professionals who share the brand’s values and promote excellent Port in countries such as Germany, the UK and Hong Kong. This exclusive community had already received the 1992 and 1996 Quinta dos Malvedos Vintage Ports in 2023.

‘This launch underlines our deep love for – and commitment to – the Douro Valley and the growing community of Graham’s Ambassadors around the world,’ says Charlotte Symington, marketing director at Symington Family Estates. ‘It’s also a tribute to the professionals who share our wines and stories.’
The choice of the 2001 vintage is no coincidence: it symbolically marks the 20th anniversary of the elevation of the Alto Douro Wine Region to World Heritage status, celebrating the terroir where Graham’s has been present for over two centuries.
