Herdade do Rocim launches Bela Luz White 2024 to celebrate Christmas

20/12/2025Herdade do Rocim has just released the Bela Luz White 2024, a new vintage that promises to be the ideal companion for festive Christmas meals. Produced from old Douro vines, the wine reflects the attention to terroir and the winemaking care of Catarina Vieira and Pedro Ribeiro.

With a pale yellow, citrus hue, the Bela Luz White presents delicate aromas of wet stone and white-fleshed fruit, revealing great breadth, freshness, and depth on the palate, with good aging potential. The winemaking combines fermentation in 500-liter French oak barrels and 140-liter clay amphorae, followed by 12 months of aging in barrels, giving the wine complexity and structure.

With 13.5% alcohol and a capacity of 0.75 liters, this white highlights the unique character of Herdade do Rocim’s old vines and is recommended to pair with typical Christmas dishes, including fish, seafood, and delicately flavored meats.
