Implante: Cas’Amaro’s new range of wines that respects the longevity of the Alentejo vineyards

22/05/2025

Cas’Amaro, a prestigious name in the wine world, has just launched its latest range of wines, Implante, a tribute to the authenticity and innovation of the Alentejo region, more precisely the Estremoz area. With wines from indigenous grape varieties and produced using organic methods, the range reflects Cas’Amaro’s commitment to respecting the longevity of the vineyards and the region’s unique terroir.

Comprising two reds from the 2022 and 2023 vintages, Implante is the result of a careful process of revitalization of the Herdade do Monte do Castelête vineyard, acquired for its privileged location and the inestimable value of its terroir. “The name Implante comes as a symbol of the processes of creation and extending the longevity of plants, reflecting our passion for innovation, always with respect for tradition,” explains Rui Costa, general manager of Cas’Amaro.

Implante Tinto 2022 is a wine made from the Aragonês, Castelão and Trincadeira grape varieties, partially aged in used oak barrels, which gives the product remarkable complexity. With an intense ruby color and aromas of ripe red fruits and caramel, it is an elegant wine with silky tannins that harmonizes perfectly with typical Alentejo dishes, such as migas with ribs or oven-roasted meat.

Implante Tinto 2023 stands out for its exclusive use of the Tinta Caiada grape variety. This wine reveals a vibrant ruby color and aromas of forest fruits, with a fresh palate and round tannins. Ideal with dishes such as roast lamb or stewed wild boar, this wine preserves the freshness of the Alentejo terroir, making it a unique and authentic choice.

Both wines are produced with vegan certification, in line with Cas’Amaro’s commitment to sustainability and more conscious consumers. Production is limited, with 4,000 bottles of Implante Tinto 2023 and 7,000 bottles of Implante Tinto 2022, making them exclusive and perfect for connoisseurs looking for quality and originality.

The recommended selling price for Implante Tinto 2022 is €10.30 (75 cl) and for Implante Field Blend 2023 €11.60 (75 cl). These wines are available to buy directly from Cas’Amaro and at selected points of sale.

Cas’Amaro, founded by Paulo Amaro in 2016, is a winemaking project that combines the production of excellent wines with a wine tourism offer in various regions of Portugal. The focus on sustainable practices and organic production, combined with investment in wine tourism units, reflects the company’s innovative vision, which by 2030 aims to offer unique and differentiated experiences to its visitors.

With the new Implante range, Cas’Amaro reaffirms its commitment to quality, authenticity and respect for the environment, consolidating its position as one of the leading names in Portuguese wine.
