
Quinta da Lagoalva promotes “Harvest Night”
02/09/2025On 5 September, Quinta da Lagoalva, in Alpiarça, opens its doors to the public for “Harvest Night”, an event that combines history, wine tourism, gastronomy and entertainment, marking the end of another harvest season.Located just one hour from Lisbon, Quinta da Lagoalva, one of the oldest and most emblematic farms in the region, began its harvest on 8 August. To celebrate the end of this season, the Holstein Campilho family is preparing a unique experience for visitors.
The event begins at 6.30 pm with a visit to the central part of the estate and the historic wine cellar, where participants will be able to meet the producer, understand the terroir and learn about the grape varieties of the current harvest. At 8:30 pm, a special dinner will be served with a menu created by chef Rui Lima Santos, from the Deselegante restaurant in Santarém. The wine pairing will be handled by oenologists Pedro Pinhão, voted Best Oenologist of the Year, and Luís Paulino. Among the dishes served are: horse mackerel tartare and sweet potato with Lagoalva Reserva Arinto & Chardonnay white 2024; cod chips with magusto, accompanied by Quinta da Lagoalva Dona Isabel Juliana Grande Reserva 2021; duck confit with carrot and orange purée paired with Quinta da Lagoalva Grande Reserva Alfrocheiro Biológico 2023; and chocolate mousse cake with cream, accompanied by Lagoalva Espumante Reserva Bruto.
From 10 p.m., the programme continues with live music at shared tables limited to 50 people. The price per person is €75.00, and reservations must be made through the official website Noite de Vindima na Lagoalva 2025.
