Quinta das Lágrimas Launches Weekend Brunch in Coimbra

Hotel Quinta das Lágrimas has expanded its gastronomic offering with the launch of a new weekend brunch, served at Pedro & Inês restaurant.

Available on Saturdays and Sundays, the Garden Brunch offers an experience designed for moments of sharing, tranquillity and connection with nature, making full use of the property’s historic gardens. The meal extends to the terrace, where the natural surroundings — characterised by century-old trees, shaded areas and water features — create the perfect setting for a relaxed experience.

The gastronomic proposal combines classic brunch options with influences from Portuguese cuisine. The experience begins with a selection of breads and pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, nuts, jams and honey, alongside a range of cold cuts and seasonal salads.

Throughout the service, highlights include dishes prepared to order, such as eggs and pancakes, complemented by warm options inspired by national culinary traditions. The menu also features a creation by chef Vítor Dias, as well as vegetarian and gluten-free options, ensuring a selection suited to different dietary preferences.

To accompany the meal, guests can enjoy fresh juices, coffee and a selection of teas, completing an experience designed to be savoured at a leisurely pace.

With this new offering, Pedro & Inês restaurant has also adjusted its schedule, now serving its “Chef’s Suggestion” menu exclusively during the week.
