Three wines from Companhia das Lezírias have been distinguished by the prestigious American magazine Wine Enthusiast, one of the most referenced publications in the global wine sector, achieving scores in the ‘Excellent’ category, awarded only to wines with a rating equal to or higher than 90 points.

Among the recognized wines, the Tyto Alba Vinhas Protegidas Alicante Bouschet & Touriga Nacional 2020 stands out, having obtained 92 points and the Editor’s Choice mention, a distinction reserved for wines considered to be of particular interest and value in the market. The 1836 Grande Reserva Tinto 2020 also received 92 points. The Series Singulares Arinto 2023 achieved 90 points, reinforcing the qualitative consistency of the production.

These distinctions represent important international recognition for Adega de Catapereiro and consolidate Companhia das Lezírias’ positioning in foreign markets, highlighting the potential of the Tejo terroir and the quality of the wines produced in the region.

Wine Enthusiast is recognized for its independent rating system, based on blind tastings conducted by a panel of experts. Only wines with scores of 80 points or higher are published, and ratings above 90 points are internationally considered a seal of high quality.
